Join the Historical Society as we host author Hilary Hauck and Kathleen Shoop for "Wedding Season - Nuptials Through Time." Learn about wedding traditions practiced by various nationalities from the past. There will be a display of gowns, pictures, and other wedding memorabilia from 1850-1940. The book, The Wedding Season and other books by Hilary Hauck will be on sale after the presentation.

After the presentation, refreshments featuring the southwestern PA tradition of the wedding cookie table will be available. Also being served will be a specialty drink called "Happily Ever After."
