A Salute to Our Veterans

Join us as we celebrate and honor our county veterans.

About the event

The Historical Society is excited to announce a special event in collaboration with several esteemed organizations, including the American Legion Post 141, the Director of Foreign Affairs, VFW Post 1989, Veterans Outdoor Outlook, the Tourist Bureau and Sheriff Robert Fyock.  This gathering aims to celebrate and honor the brave veterans and active service members.                                                                               


Preceding the program, the Indiana County Fife and Drum Corp, under the direction of Paul Rode, Zack Karcher and Luke Hamilton, will be performing on the front lawn of the Clark House.  Beginning at 6:30 PM, join us for the free program in Memorial Park.  Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.                                                                           


Following the program, a reception will take place in the museum of the HGSIC where attendees can view the current exhibit honoring all six branches of the military.  This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and express gratitude for the sacrifices made by our…
