About the event

Calling all mystery fans. Use your sleuth skills to solve a murder, while enjoying the experience of a dinner theatre at the Armory, which has been turned into a WWII canteen. Will the guys get to dance with the stars or will the evening turn deadly.

On June 29 at the WWII Armory canteen, the Historical Society will present "Shootout at the Hollywood Canteen, A Sam Spade Murder Mystery" written by Mary Jo Bowes. Performed by a talented group of actors, the play will take us back to a time when servicemen frequented the local canteen for a fun night out. This evening, however takes a strange turn. Who did it will be the question. Join us for mystery, dinner, and murder.
