"My Indiana County" Photo Contest

Do you enjoy taking photographs?  Is your camera roll full of photos you've taken around Indiana County?  Consider entering them in our "My Indiana County" Photo Contest.  The contest is meant to raise funds for the general operation of the Historical Society.

We want to see what you consider "My Indiana County," whether it be festivals, historic sites, landscapes, or even your backyard, anything that makes Indiana County special.  The entry form will become available through this page on January 1, 2024 and entries will be accepted through February 17, 2024.  Please follow all Rules and Regulations for the Contest.  Entry fee is $10.00 per entry.

The Photo Contest is open to all ages, and will be split into two (2) categories - Youth (16 and under) and Adult (17 and over).  Winners from each category will receive a cash prize as follows: 1st prize - $100; 2nd prize - $50; and 3rd prize - $25.

Beginning February 24, 2024, entries will be showcased on our website. For voting purposes, all photos will be displayed anonymously until voting has ended. The public can vote for their favorite piece by paying $1.00 per vote, which can be done online or in-person.  Voting ends on March 30, 2024.  Winners will be announced at Trivia Night on April 5, 2024.  The top 6 entries in each category will be featured in our 2025 calendar.

DISCLAIMER: In the event that not enough entries in each category are received, photos chosen for the calendar will be from all combined entries or from the Society's collection.
